MATCH DAY GUIDE
A PDX FC match day is one of the best ways to see Portland's community-owned club up close. This guide covers how to prepare, what to expect at the ground, and simple ways to support the players once kickoff arrives.
1. Check the schedule first
Start on the PDX FC homepage and the News page for kickoff times, venue notes, and last-minute changes. Home matches have been hosted around the Portland metro, including La Salle Catholic High School Stadium, so confirm the field before you leave.
2. Arrive early and settle in
Plan to reach the stadium at least 30 to 45 minutes before kickoff. That window gives you time to park, find seating, and catch warm-ups. Bring layers. Portland evenings can cool quickly, even after a warm afternoon. Comfortable shoes help if you are walking from an overflow lot or nearby street parking.
If you are new to the club, skim the About page for the Club, Community, Culture mission. It explains why the stands feel local and why players stay visible after the final whistle.
3. Know the teams on the pitch
PDX FC fields men's and women's sides. Before the whistle, open the Roster and Women pages so you can spot returning players and new faces. Coaching notes on the Coaches & Staff page help you follow in-game shape changes and substitutions.

4. Support the badge the right way
Cheer loud, keep language family-friendly, and respect opposing fans. Community ownership works when the stands stay welcoming. Grab club gear from the Store when new drops land, and follow partner updates listed on the homepage after the match.
Players looking for the next step should review the Tryouts page for registration windows and coach expectations. Questions for the club office go through Contact.
5. After the final whistle
Stay for a few minutes when the exit is calm. Many PDX FC nights end with players and staff still available near the bench area. Share the result with friends, then circle back to the PDX FC homepage for recaps and the next fixture notice.
